KIT PAPPAS / Vice President, Hotel Management
Kit leads all hospitality initiatives for Tavistock Development Company.
Prior to joining Tavistock, Kit was with Capella Hotel Group for 11 years serving as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. As C.O.O. he was responsible for the global operations of Capella Hotels, Solis Hotels and a portfolio of independent hotels. Kit began his hospitality career with Westin Hotels, was General Manager for Hard Rock Hotels, Renaissance Hotels and Vice President, Sales and Marketing for pre-opening hotels with The Ritz-Carlton.
Kit is a graduate of Michigan State University.
BILL THOMAS / Senior Director of Human Resources
Bill directs human resources for Tavistock Hotel Collection.
He comes to Tavistock Development after 14 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Denver and Vail properties. Bill has opened five hotels and resorts with the Four Seasons and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He started his hospitality career in operations with Westin Hotels and Resorts.
Bill is a graduate of Michigan State University.
RACHEL STEELE / Senior Marketing Manager
Rachel is responsible for brand development and marketing efforts for Tavistock Hotel Collection.
She comes to Tavistock Development after 13 years opening the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts where she has an extensive background rooted in developing strong brand identity and integrating it through audience and sales messaging, overall ambiance and guest services from inception to current operations.
Rachel is a graduate of University of Florida.
KIM DeMARS / Project Administrator
Kim supports various hospitality initiatives for Tavistock Hotel Collection.
She joins Tavistock Development after 9 years at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts where she held roles at multiple Disney hotels. Most recently she served as a Guest Experience Manager at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort leading front office initiatives and guest relations for the resort’s groups and conventions.
Kim is a graduate of the University of Miami.
